Unauthenticated SQL injection via unsanitized email parameter
Published May 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Examination System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data through the registration form. registeracc.php reads the email POST value and passes it into a database query without sanitization or validation, enabling boolean- and time-based injection. No login is required; crafted email values can enumerate database contents, while host compromise requires the database account to hold DBA privileges.
