Unauthenticated shortcode execution via unvalidated AJAX input
Published Oct 28, 2024 · Updated May 11, 2026
Code injection in RealMag777 MDTF 1.3.3.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary WordPress shortcodes over the network. The mdf_get_ajax_auto_recount_data AJAX action accepts attacker-controlled shortcode_txt input and passes it to do_shortcode without adequate validation. No authentication or user interaction is required; resulting impact depends on which shortcodes are installed and callable on the site.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
