Administrator stored XSS via survey category input
Published Oct 29, 2024 · Updated May 12, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in AYS Pro Plugins Survey Maker 5.0.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The survey categories page stores administrator-controlled input and later renders it without sufficient sanitization or output escaping; public sources do not identify the exact field or function. Successful exploitation requires Administrator access and a separate user to view the stored content, allowing script execution in that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
