Subscriber-level data modification via unchecked AJAX actions
Published Oct 29, 2024 · Updated May 12, 2026
Missing authorization in Templately 3.1.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify WordPress data through AJAX actions. Several functions hooked to WordPress AJAX actions invoke data-changing operations without checking the caller's capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; public sources do not identify the affected functions or bound the modified data more narrowly.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
