CVE-2024-50387

Unauthenticated SQL injection via unvalidated command arguments

Published Dec 6, 2024 · Updated Dec 6, 2024

SQL injection in QNAP SMB Service before 4.15.002 and h4.15.002 allows remote attackers to alter database queries without authentication. The Log Tool places an unvalidated user-supplied command-line string into SQL query construction, enabling attacker-controlled SQL statements. The discoverer requires network adjacency and reports that administrator-context code execution requires chaining this flaw with other vulnerabilities.
