Device hijacking via unauthenticated MAC-only reassignment

Authentication bypass in Snap One OvrC before 7.3 allows remote attackers to hijack devices through Hub impersonation. The cloud's device-facing interface accepts only a target MAC address from an impersonated Hub when processing unclaim and claim requests, without authenticating the Hub or verifying the current ownership association. Network access and a known or enumerated MAC address are sufficient to detach a device from its owner and attach it to the attacker's account, disrupting management and exposing device control.
