Root command execution via unsanitized removal parameters
Published Nov 26, 2024 · Updated Nov 26, 2024
OS command injection in affected Advantech EKI-6333AC firmware allows remote authenticated users to gain unrestricted root access. The certificate_file_remove API concatenates multiple request parameters into operating-system commands without sanitizing shell metacharacters. Administrative access to the network management interface is required; successful exploitation grants full control of the wireless access point.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
