CVE-2024-50350Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Session compromise via unescaped Port Group names

Published Nov 15, 2024 · Updated Nov 15, 2024

Stored XSS in LibreNMS before 24.10.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript when another user opens Port Settings. EditPortsController.php's formatItem method inserts a Port Group name directly into an HTML option without entity encoding. Exploitation requires permission to create a Port Group and a second user to view an affected device's Port Settings, exposing that user's session to unauthorized actions.
