Update-log deletion via unchecked reset request
Published Jul 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in ToolStack SULly before 4.3.1 allows remote attackers to clear update logs through a crafted admin URL. The options-general.php handler processes SULlyRemoveAction=TRUE as a state-changing GET request without a CSRF check. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open the URL; the published proof of concept clears logs but leaves settings intact.
