Unauthenticated configuration disclosure via semicolon path injection
Published Oct 29, 2024 · Updated Oct 29, 2024
Authentication bypass in Erudika Scoold before 1.64.0 allows remote attackers to read server configuration via an alternate API path. The /api;/config route bypasses authentication when a semicolon is appended, while HOCON PUT requests trigger server-side file inclusion. The Scoold API must be enabled and network-reachable; successful exploitation exposes sensitive configuration files.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
