Path traversal in Endpoint Manager before 2024 November Security Update or 2022 SU6 November Security Update allows remote attackers to execute code. The vulscan utility uses a user-supplied path in file operations without properly validating that the path remains within an intended directory. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file and runs attacker-controlled code as NETWORK SERVICE.
