Unauthenticated service interruption via loop without exit

Published Nov 12, 2024 · Updated Nov 12, 2024

Denial of service in Ivanti Avalanche before 6.4.6 allows remote attackers to interrupt the Mobile Device Server via TCP port 1777. WLAvalancheService processes network input in a loop that lacks a proper exit condition, leaving the service unable to complete processing.
