CVE-2024-50319Network attack vector

Unauthenticated service interruption via infinite loop

Published Nov 12, 2024 · Updated Nov 13, 2024

Infinite-loop denial of service in Ivanti Avalanche before 6.4.6 allows remote attackers to interrupt WLAvalancheService via TCP port 1777. Within the service's TV_FN processing, a loop handles network input without a proper exit condition. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the resulting infinite loop consumes resources until the service becomes unavailable.
