GraphQL resource exhaustion in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.18 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via batched queries. GraphQL batching accepts thousands of aliases in one query without limiting their expansion, exhausting application resources. Any authenticated low-privilege user who can submit GraphQL queries can make the application unavailable to legitimate users.
