Kernel-memory disclosure via uninitialized HID report buffer

Use of an uninitialized resource in the Linux kernel HID core allows local users to read kernel memory through crafted HID reports. hid_alloc_report_buf() allocates report storage with kmalloc(), leaving prior kernel contents in bytes that drivers can expose through specially crafted reports. Exploitation requires local low-privileged code and a reachable HID report path; on Siemens TM MFP, disclosure is limited to HID report data and requires malicious code installed on the device.
