Kernel memory corruption via mishandled UDF extent errors

Out-of-bounds access in the Linux UDF filesystem allows local users to corrupt kernel memory through a crafted image and ftruncate. inode_bmap conflates udf_next_aext errors with end of file, so udf_extend_file continues with invalid extent state derived from attacker-controlled UDF metadata. Exploitation requires mounting the crafted image and writing to a file on it; consequences include kernel-memory disclosure or corruption, a crash, or a hang.
