Kernel memory corruption via excess DMA descriptors

Out-of-bounds writes in Linux 6.9.6 through 6.11.5 allow remote attackers to corrupt kernel memory through the MediaTek Ethernet driver. The mtk_init_fq_dma loop allocates up to MTK_FQ_DMA_LENGTH buffers but iterates across the larger SoC free-queue descriptor count, so excess descriptors reference memory outside those buffers. Reachability requires an MT7988-based system using the affected driver; network traffic supplies bytes written into unrelated kernel memory, causing data corruption or a crash.
