Kernel memory compromise via duplicated spanning-store entries

Maple-tree corruption in affected Linux kernel releases allows local users to read or write kernel memory via memory-management syscalls. In mas_wr_spanning_store(), a spanning store that consumes the rightmost leaf incorrectly duplicates new and existing entries at the maximum pivot. An unprivileged local process can shape its own VMA tree and trigger the condition, resulting in stale kernel objects, overlapping mappings, or a kernel crash.
