Kernel errors via preemptible CPU-ID lookup

Availability flaw in the Loongson3 CPU-frequency driver in Linux 6.11 allows local users to trigger kernel errors during driver probing. The do_service_request() routine calls smp_processor_id() from preemptible probe context instead of the raw accessor, triggering a kernel BUG diagnostic. Reachability requires Loongson3 hardware and the loongson3_cpufreq driver to be enabled; public records document no reliable crash or privilege gain.
