Local service interruption via leaked transmit buffers

Memory leakage in the bcmasp network driver in affected Linux kernels allows local users to interrupt service through failed DMA mappings. The bcmasp_xmit function returns NETDEV_TX_OK after dma_map_single fails without releasing the associated socket buffer. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and the Broadcom ASP 2.0 Ethernet driver; repeated failures can exhaust kernel memory.
