Kernel compromise via SMB extended-attribute double free

Double free in the Linux SMB client in Linux 6.6.32 through 6.6.58 and 6.8 through 6.11.5 allows remote attackers to compromise the kernel. The smb2_set_ea() replay path frees ea at sea_exit, then retries without resetting the pointer, allowing another early exit to free the stale allocation again. A malicious SMB server must reset an established share connection and return crafted extended-attribute responses; the resulting allocator corruption crashes the host or enables kernel-memory disclosure and control-flow hijacking.
