Local privilege escalation via unchecked SetAdminPassword

Improper access control in WhatsUp Gold 2023.1.0 through 2023.1.2 allows local users to change the administrator password. The SetAdminPassword method accepts a locally sent HTTP request without enforcing its intended access control and applies the supplied administrator password. Exploitation requires low-privileged code execution on the server or the ability to send an HTTP request from a local machine; success grants control of administrator-protected resources.
