Stored XSS via unescaped campaign settings
Published Jul 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Stored XSS in CreativeMinds CM Pop-Up before 1.6.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a previewer's browser. The Basic Visual Width and other campaign settings accept closing style markup and script elements without sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level campaign access is sufficient, and execution requires another user to preview the crafted campaign; impact is limited to that browser context.
