Kernel warning via cross-family xtables invocation

Improper xtables family registration in Linux from 2.6.30 through 6.12-rc2 allows local users to trigger a kernel warning via ebtables. Several matches and targets register for NFPROTO_UNSPEC even though they assume an IPv4 or IPv6 network header or return verdict values incompatible with the ebtables traverser. Reaching the flaw requires a local caller able to invoke xtables through set/getsockopt interfaces, and the published reproducer identifies the observed consequence as a kernel warning.
