Kernel memory corruption via unchecked adapter index

Out-of-bounds write in the Linux kernel ASIHPI driver from 2.6.35 allows local users to corrupt kernel memory through adapter firmware. In HPIMSGX__init(), a successful firmware response supplied adapter_index, which indexed hpi_entry_points without an HPI_MAX_ADAPTERS check. Reachability requires an ASIHPI-driven AudioScience adapter whose firmware returns an oversized index; the write can crash the kernel or alter adjacent kernel data.
