Kernel memory misuse via freed connection dereference

Use-after-free in Linux ksmbd allows remote authenticated users to reuse a freed connection during SMB multichannel oplock handling. The oplock-break path retains opinfo->conn without holding a ksmbd_conn reference, so another channel can free the connection before a pending request dereferences it. SMB access and multichannel activity are required; the public kernel record does not specify whether exploitation causes a crash, code execution, or data exposure.
