CVE-2024-4995Network attack vector

Data interception and modification via protocol downgrade

Published Dec 18, 2024 · Updated Oct 7, 2025

Protocol downgrade in Wapro ERP Desktop before 9.00.0 allows remote attackers to expose SQL traffic to interception and modification. The client accepts an MS SQL server's downgrade request and continues the database session without encryption instead of enforcing encrypted transport. Reachability requires a server-side downgrade response; the resulting plaintext session exposes business data in transit to reading or modification.
