CVE-2024-49846Network attack vector

Memory disclosure via T3448 buffer over-read

Published May 6, 2025 · Updated May 6, 2025

Buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms allows remote attackers to disclose memory through crafted T3448 OTA messages. The multi-mode call processor decodes the T3448 information element beyond its intended buffer, corrupting memory during message handling. Reception of malicious over-the-air input is required; exploitation needs no authentication or user interaction and can expose memory or interrupt service.
