Host compromise via unchecked CPU-state array index
Published Feb 3, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon Automotive QNX firmware allows local users to corrupt host memory during guest VM suspension. The CPU-state reader fails to validate an array index before accessing state data during a guest VM suspend. Successful exploitation requires low-privileged local access and compromises host confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
