Memory corruption via oversized mixer-control IOCTL input

Memory corruption in Snapdragon audio firmware allows local users to corrupt memory by setting mixer controls through an IOCTL call. The mixer-control IOCTL handler copies caller-supplied control data without checking its size, overwriting adjacent memory. A low-privileged local user must be able to issue the IOCTL; successful exploitation can disclose memory and alter or interrupt the affected component.
