CVE-2024-49829

Memory corruption via unchecked context dump length

Published May 6, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Buffer overflow in Qualcomm Snapdragon camera components allows local users to corrupt memory by supplying an oversized context user dump. The context user dump path copies data without adequately checking the destination buffer length. Exploitation requires high local privileges and no user interaction; Qualcomm has not published the specific post-corruption behavior.
