Stack-based buffer overflow in IBM Db2 Server allows remote authenticated users to crash the database server with a crafted query. IBM has not published the query-processing locus or the operation that overruns the stack buffer. Database credentials are required; successful exploitation crashes the server and interrupts database availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
