Information disclosure via missing HSTS enforcement
Published Dec 17, 2024 · Updated Dec 17, 2024
Cleartext transmission in IBM Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager 4.1, 4.1.1, 4.2.0, and 4.2.1 allows remote attackers to read sensitive information. The HTTPS service fails to enable HTTP Strict Transport Security, permitting clients to use connections without enforced HTTPS protection. Exploitation requires a man-in-the-middle position between a client and the server; the documented impact is disclosure, not modification or interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
