CVE-2024-49797Network attack vector

Information disclosure via missing HSTS enforcement

Published Feb 5, 2025 · Updated Feb 22, 2025

Information disclosure in IBM ApplinX 11.1 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information through man-in-the-middle attacks. The web interface fails to return the Strict-Transport-Security response header, so browsers are not instructed to require HTTPS for later connections. Exploitation requires a network position that permits traffic interception or modification, and the reported consequence is disclosure only.
