Cross-user media disclosure via unchecked content URI
Published Sep 2, 2025 · Updated Sep 3, 2025
Information disclosure in Bluetooth file sharing in Google Android 13 through 15 allows local users to read another user's media. BluetoothOppSendFileInfo.generateFileInfo accepts a content URI naming a different user, then opens it without validating that user ID. A low-privilege local user can supply the URI without user interaction, exposing media readable by the Bluetooth service but not the caller.
