Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped id parameter
Published May 22, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in ThimPress LearnPress 4.2.6.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject script via the id parameter. The affected path accepts the id value without sufficient sanitization and renders it without context-appropriate output escaping; the public record does not identify the handler or output sink. Contributor-level access is required, and the stored script executes in the site origin when affected content is viewed.
