Script execution via reflected password-reset input
Published Apr 14, 2025 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
Reflected XSS in SoftCOM iKSORIS before 79.0 allows remote attackers to run scripts in a user's browser through a password-reset form. The Internet Starter module returns malicious password-reset form input to the page without neutralizing it, causing the browser to execute the script. Exploitation requires a user to submit attacker-supplied content, and the script runs only in that user's web context.
