Database disclosure via injectable marker deletion parameter
Published May 16, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Interactive Map with Marker 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data. The delete-mark.php endpoint incorporates the mark query parameter into a MySQL statement without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling error-based, stacked-query, and time-based injection. A low-privileged session can reach the deletion endpoint, and the demonstrated exploit retrieves database information.
