Application crash via malicious file processing
Published Dec 10, 2024 · Updated Dec 10, 2024
NULL pointer dereference in Adobe Media Encoder 25.0, 24.6.3 and earlier allows attackers to crash the application via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser, file format, or code path; the published record states only that processing the file dereferences a null pointer. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file, and the reported consequence is limited to interruption of that Media Encoder process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
