Code execution via malicious file out-of-bounds write
Published Dec 10, 2024 · Updated Dec 17, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Media Encoder 25.0, 24.6.3 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser or the bounds-checking failure that lets file data drive the out-of-bounds write. A victim must open the crafted file, after which code runs with the current user's privileges and can alter or disrupt that user's data and processes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
