Sensitive memory disclosure via malicious file
Published Nov 12, 2024 · Updated Nov 12, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Animate 2023 23.0.7 and earlier and 2024 24.0.4 and earlier allows attackers to disclose sensitive memory. Adobe has not published the affected parser or file format, or the bounds-checking error that causes the read beyond valid memory. Exploitation requires a victim to open a malicious file, and the exposed memory can help bypass ASLR without altering data or code.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
