Code execution via heap buffer overflow
Published Nov 12, 2024 · Updated Nov 13, 2024
Heap-based buffer overflow in Adobe InDesign 18.5.3 and earlier and 19.5 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe has not identified the affected file parser or disclosed which unchecked memory operation corrupts heap storage. Exploitation requires a local user to open the file and runs attacker-controlled code with that user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
