Reflected XSS via crafted Setup Wizard URL
Published Nov 28, 2024 · Updated Nov 28, 2024
Reflected XSS in SUSE Manager allows remote authenticated users to run script in a user's browser through a crafted Setup Wizard URL. The HTTP Proxy credentials pane reflects attacker-controlled URL input into its generated page without neutralizing executable markup; public sources do not identify the exact parameter or template. A user with high privileges must prepare the link and another user must click it, limiting the consequence to script-driven reading or modification of data available in that browser session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
