Arbitrary code execution via unsanitized Mermaid links

Code injection in Joplin Desktop before 3.1.0 allows context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary shell commands through untrusted notes. The Markdown preview fails to remove data-from-md from anchor tags generated by Mermaid, causing those links to open untrusted local HTML inside a Node-enabled Electron window. Exploitation requires a user to open an untrusted note, retain a malicious HTML file locally, and click the rendered link; successful execution inherits the desktop application's access.
