Authenticated directory listing via unrestricted path parameter
Published Oct 24, 2024 · Updated Oct 25, 2024
Path traversal in ZimaOS 1.2.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to list arbitrary server directories through its file API. The /v2_1/file endpoint passes the caller-controlled path parameter to directory-listing logic without restricting it to approved storage roots. A valid session is required, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of directory names and filesystem structure, including entries under /etc.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
