Unauthenticated service crash via concurrent resource inputs
Published Nov 26, 2024 · Updated Nov 26, 2024
Race condition in IBM Watson Speech Services Cartridge for IBM Cloud Pak for Data 4.0.0 through 5.0.2 allows remote attackers to crash it. The product fails to check inputs correctly when resources are used concurrently, permitting an unexpected state; IBM has not identified the affected resource or operation. Unauthenticated network input reaches the flaw, and the documented consequence is a service crash rather than data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
