Email script execution via unsanitized workflow fields

HTML injection in IBM OpenPages 8.3 and 9.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in workflow emails viewed by recipients. Text fields from an OpenPages object are used to construct workflow notifications without properly neutralizing supplied HTML tags. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to control an object field and a recipient to view the resulting message, enabling phishing or identity theft.
