Unrestricted file upload in WP REST API FNS 1.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to place executable web shells on a server. Patchstack and the CNA record do not disclose the affected REST route, handler, or missing file-type validation operation. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful uploads can execute in the WordPress host's web context and compromise site data or interrupt service.
