Database data disclosure via concatenated id parameter
Published May 16, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Simple Online Bidding System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via the id parameter. The view_udet handler directly concatenates the id query parameter into a nine-column SQL statement after only checking for an empty value. An authenticated PHP session is required, and a crafted UNION query can disclose the database name, database user, and other stored information.
