Stored XSS via unescaped block anchor output
Published Oct 17, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Daniel Floeter Hyperlink Group Block 1.17.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. Before 1.17.6, the dynamic block render callback outputs stored anchor markup without sufficient context-specific escaping. Contributor-level access is required to save the payload, and a visitor must open the affected page before the script runs in that visitor's browser.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
